Reducing transportation costs and eliminating scheduling conflicts.

This proposed project is a fully equipped passenger van. The purpose is to reduce operating costs for after and before school programs, and focus on enhancing K-8 classes educational experiences with an on-site passenger van for transportation to art, music, sea life, and wilderness safety workshops. The purchase of the $60,000 fully equipped passenger van is vital in the Anchorage Waldorf School Board Trustees strategy and financial plan of reducing transportation costs of contracted buses and eliminating scheduling conflicts.

Purchasing a van will enhance students’ educational experience related to art, music, wilderness safety courses, and sea life workshops. The purchase will strengthen the visibility of the school in the community, engage families, and bolster the overall financial well-being of the Anchorage Waldorf School.
